Department of Science Laboratory Technology Established since 1994 to train students in Science Laboratory Technology and other related courses.The Department has four(4) main units headed by various unit heads viz:
Environmental biology unit
Chemistry/biochemistry unit
Physics/Electronics unit
Technical unit.
Programmes offered
The department runs programmes in
National Diploma (ND) Courses,
Higher National Diploma (HND) Environmental Biology option,
Higher National Diploma (HND) Chemistry/Biochemistry option,
Higher Diploma in public health (HDPH),
Diploma in public health (DPH).
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
A candidate must pass five papers/subjects in Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE), or National Examination Council (NECO) including English Language and Mathematics. Such candidate must also sit and obtain at least 150 Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) cut off marks.
GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS
A student must pass all the prescribed courses in the department with at least 40 marks and above without carryover.
