The Polytechnic runs the Schools System in consonance with the practice in most Federal Polytechnics. Each school comprises of two or more academic departments and is headed by a Director to be elected or appointed in accordance with the provisions of National Board for Technical Education Staff manual. Each department is headed by a Head of Department to be appointed by the Rector.
